C-Suction update - where things stand

I was trying to think of a catchy phrase To title my updates from just moments of praise and catching up - no judging on my selection...I chose C-Suction as a little play on words but this journey is about suctioning Cancer our of my body so there it is.

  • I am taking a few more tests this week so that team of doctors have all the information they need to get me Healthy - keep praying with expecting hearts

  • I will be undergoing a double mastectomy on August 25th at Loyola Hospital

  • I expect to spend one to two days in the hospital and then return home

  • I will be home with drainage tubes for one to two weeks to prevent fluid build up from the surgery. The tubes will be removed when the creation of excess fluid stops

  • Soon after, I will start Chemo, which will be for 3-5 months
