All the pre-op work is done. Surgery is scheduled for 7:30am tomorrow at Loyola Hospital in Maywood. Double mastectomy with expanders. I will spend one to two days at the hospital and then home to heal. All the hard work to lose weight, get stronger and get healthier is paying off because it will make the surgery easier and healing should be faster. It’s still a journey, so I will try my best to stay in the moment with God as I take each step. Thank you all for your well wishes and prayers...God’s got this, so I got this!
